Sukhwinder K. Bajwa

Partner 

With her practice centered on the area of professional liability defense, Ms. Bajwa has represented physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals in matters involving all aspects of medical care including complex perinatal brain injuries, anesthesia and surgical complications, obstetrical care, emergency medicine, and EMTALA actions.

Ms. Bajwa has co-tried medical malpractice cases to successful defense verdicts in Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Francisco County Superior Courts.  

 

Ms. Bajwa obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the Pacific and her Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1992.  She was a member of the Pacific Law Journal and an assistant editor of the International Law Journal.  She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1992.  

 

Professional memberships include Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California, the Contra Costa County Bar Association and the South Asian Bar Association.
